Don Cochrane Sr. founded Cochrane Supply in September of 1967. Don’s philosophy was simple but effective: “Never lie to your customer and do what you say you’re going to do.” After moving the branch around Detroit for the first five years, Cochrane Supply settled on Beech Daly in Redford between Seven Mile and Grand River. For the next 20 years Cochrane Supply continued to grow the business throughout Michigan, opening branches in Madison Heights and Grand Rapids. With three locations and over 30 employees, Cochrane Supply has become the largest source for building controls in Michigan.
