Who is Cochrane Supply?
Cochrane Supply & Engineering was founded in 1967 and is a leading Building Controls technology distributor representing 50 manufacturers including Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Tridium, and many more.  The main focus of the company is to offer parts and systems with services to contractors in order to ensure a high quality installation or retro fit for the building owner. Cochrane Supply has developed new system capabilities including energy monitoring, integrated web based building management systems and a library of hundreds of pre-engineered solutions to meet the growing technology needs of the industry cost effectively.  With four locations and over 30 employees, Cochrane Supply has become the largest source for building controls in Michigan and Ohio.

Don Cochrane Sr. founded Cochrane Supply in September of 1967.  Don’s philosophy was simple but effective:  “Never lie to your customer and do what you say you’re going to do.”  After moving the branch around Detroit for the first five years, Cochrane Supply settled on Beech Daly in Redford between Seven Mile and Grand River.  For the next 20 years Cochrane Supply continued to grow the business throughout Michigan, opening branches in Madison Heights, Grand Rapids, and Toledo, OH.
