Honeywell Spyder Training


Course Description


Honeywell has developed a new family of controllers built on the Niagara Framework. These controllers are programmed with your Niagara programming tool. Special pallets built within for applications or customer programming. This class is designed to teach a programmer how to best utilize the applications built by Honeywell. It will also cover in depth the new Spyder Controller capabilities.

 

Prerequisites


Each student is required to have a laptop running the most current release of WorkPlace AX and have full administrator privledges on that laptop.

 

Course Objectives


  • Creating the LON Network in the workbench
  • Adding the Spyder to the Network
  • Setting up standard VAV / CVAHU Application
  • Adding a second Spyder to the Network
  • Custom Programming in the controller
  • Network Communication
  • Connecting the Spyder to a JACE
  • Placing a Spyder point onto a PX view
  • Saving all applications to a library
  • Loading application from memory
