FX Builder

Course Description

FX Tools is a Windows-based software package for engineering, selecting, configuring, downloading, and commissioning, HVAC and refrigeration applications for the Facility Explorer field controllers, master controllers, and master displays.

Prerequisites

Each student is required to have a laptop running FX Tools Pro.

Course Objectives

Define the purpose and operation of the various FX programs (and how they are saved).
Define and tell the operation of a LON and an N2 network.
Determine the address of any controller (LON or N2).
List and tell the purpose of the common Network Variables (NVO's, NVI's and CP's) used in each controller).
Tell the purpose of assemblies.
Given a sequence of operation, design the application using FX Builder.
Using FX Builder, design a logic circuit using the PLC application
Download any application and commission / test the application.
