Course Description

The JADE™ economizer doesn’t heat or cool anything. It simply brings in outdoor air to naturally lower a building’s interior temperature. You don’t need a certified programmer or installer to set up and operate the JADE economizer. JADE is designed to work seamlessly with existing and future roof top systems. The LCD screen delivers continuous messages, important diagnostics and system status.

Course Objectives

Verify correct operation of the Mixed/Discharge air sensor.
Check and confirm modulation and spring return of economizer motor.
Check and confirm that logic module responds to all inputs and outputs as designed.
Learn the procedure and formula for determining Outdoor air minimum position.
Be able to set the minimum position to achieve the desired OA dilution.
Learn the different setup options of the logic modules.
