| The LCBS
Advanced Level Programming class focuses on writing control functions
that are often needed to solve programming requirements of more
sophisticated job specifications. Included will be information on
Control Strategy Theories and how to program them in the XL15A and XL15C
controllers, how to link the Control Loops, Logic Functions, Logic
Loops, Start Stop loops, and other programming tools to achieve these
programming requirements. Pre-Requisites:
Students need to have a Laptop computer with Windows 2000 or higher, and
LonSpec 4.6 or higher.
Course Objectives:
- Configuring high low limit control
- Lead/Lag output control (lead failover to
lag)
- DX coil discharge air control
- Multiple zone Bypass Mode configuration
- Warm up/cool down mode configuration
- Night time temperature control cycling
- Discharge temperature, Duct Static, and
other set point reset options
- LonStation graphic creation and
programming
- LonStation graphic backup and restore
procedures
- Additional functions will also be included
