Course Details

Course Description: Upcoming Dates & Registration Information
This class will cover the basics of Pneumatic control such as air compressors, air dryers and filters, Pneumatic sensors, Zone Controls, Pneumatic Valves and Actuators. The course will also calibrate a typical temperature sensor and a typical room temperature stat and troubleshoot typical problems with a room stat.

Pre-Requisites: None

Course Objectives:

  • Define the purpose and construction of typical pneumatic devices.
  • Define how to install and maintain typical pneumatic devices.
  • Define typical safety procedures used with pneumatics
  • Given a typical problem, troubleshoot it down to a component
