Dave Molin - President, Building Management Systems, Honeywell
Dave Molin is currently the President of the Building Management Systems business within the Building Automation organization at Honeywell. He leads the commercial building controls product business and is ultimately responsible for strategy and strategic initiatives, innovation, new product introductions, and M&A activity.
He has spent his entire career working in businesses that provide offerings to commercial buildings. He spent over 20 years working for Trane Technologies in a variety of product management, business development, and general management roles leading controls, digital, HVAC equipment, and performance contracting businesses at various times during his career there.
In two different stints, Dave has over 10 years of service at Honeywell. He has been a portfolio leader, channel excellence leader, and general manager. He was actively involved with many of the key acquisitions that Honeywell has made in the commercial controls markets including Tridium, Inncom, Novar, Alerton, and Trend.
Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Science Museum of Minnesota.
