The Honeywell TR100 Wall Module is the latest evolution in user-friendly, intuitive interfaces for building management systems. Designed to replace a wide range of legacy Honeywell modules, the TR100 brings a modern design, enhanced performance, and simplified installation—all in one powerful package.

What Is the TR100?

The TR100 is a touchscreen wall module that connects directly to your building’s HVAC and automation systems. Built with a sleek, swipeable interface—similar to the mobile devices people use every day—it offers real-time access to temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels (depending on model), and system status.

The TR100 comes in three variants to fit different sensing needs:

Why It’s Useful

The TR100 isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade. It’s a fully featured module designed to make both installation and operation easier:

1. Intuitive User Interface

Users can easily view and adjust settings with a familiar, responsive touchscreen. A colorful status ring provides at-a-glance system feedback.

2. Quick Installation and Setup

Installers save time thanks to auto-detection and emulation of prior Honeywell modules. The TR100 supports drop-in replacements for many legacy models, reducing downtime and complexity.

3. Broad Compatibility

The TR100 integrates with a wide range of Honeywell controllers and systems using industry-standard protocols. This makes it suitable for both new builds and retrofit projects.

4. Future-Ready Design

With an award-winning aesthetic, the TR100 fits seamlessly into any environment—from traditional offices to high-end commercial spaces.

Direct Replacement for Legacy Wall Modules

As part of Honeywell’s ongoing product lifecycle management, several popular wall module families are being phased out. The TR100 is the recommended replacement for the following end-of-life models, which will no longer be available after December 31, 2025:

  • TR120 / TR120-H
  • TR71 / TR71-H
  • TR75 / TR75-H
  • TR42-H, TR42-CO2, TR42-H-CO2

Note: The TR42 (temperature only) model will remain available beyond 2025 for applications requiring a white, non-touchscreen interface.

For projects requiring humidity and CO₂ sensing with TR42 aesthetics, Honeywell recommends pairing TR40 sensors with the TR42.

What You Should Do

  • Review upcoming projects and inventory that still rely on TR120, TR71, TR75, or TR42 variants.
  • Plan your transition to the TR100 series before the end-of-life cutoff on December 31, 2025.
  • Select the TR100 variant that best matches your sensing requirements.

The TR100 Wall Module makes upgrading simple—not just by replacing old hardware, but by offering a better, smarter experience for both users and installers. Whether you’re refreshing an existing system or starting a new project, the TR100 brings long-term value, modern design, and ease of use to every space.
